Terms and Conditions

North Star Roof, Exterior & Gutter Cleaning, LLC

By accepting an estimate, quote, proposal, invoice, or scheduling services with North Star Roof, Exterior & Gutter Cleaning, LLC, the customer agrees to the following Terms & Conditions.

1. Agreement

This agreement is between the customer (property owner or authorized representative) and North Star Roof, Exterior & Gutter Cleaning, LLC for exterior cleaning services in exchange for payment. We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time.

2. Property Access

The customer authorizes our team to enter the property to perform the requested services. Certain projects may require multiple visits or rescheduling due to weather, equipment issues, or other unforeseen circumstances.

3. Water Supply

The customer agrees to provide access to an exterior water source during the service. If the property uses well water or has limited water pressure, we may ask that water usage inside the home be minimized while work is being performed.

4. Electrical Access

The customer authorizes the use of an exterior electrical outlet if required to complete the scheduled services.

5. Property Condition & Liability

We take every reasonable precaution to protect your property while performing our services. However, North Star Roof, Exterior & Gutter Cleaning, LLC is not responsible for damage resulting from pre-existing conditions, improperly installed materials, age-related deterioration, hidden defects, loose siding, deteriorated caulking, failing paint, loose shingles, or other conditions beyond our control. We are responsible only for damage directly caused by our negligence or willful misconduct.

6. Pre-Existing Damage

Visible pre-existing damage may be documented before work begins. Existing damage does not become the responsibility of North Star Roof, Exterior & Gutter Cleaning, LLC simply because it is discovered during the cleaning process.

7. Landscaping

We take precautions to protect landscaping, flowers, shrubs, and other vegetation during soft washing. Customers should move delicate potted plants, outdoor décor, bird feeders, and other movable items away from the work area before our arrival.

8. Oxidation & Surface Conditions

Cleaning may reveal oxidation, fading, permanent staining, or other cosmetic imperfections that were previously hidden beneath dirt or organic growth. These existing conditions are not caused by the cleaning process.

9. Preparing for Service

Before our arrival, please:

Ensure an exterior water source is available.

Close and secure all windows and doors.

Keep children and pets safely indoors.

Move vehicles away from work areas whenever possible.

Remove outdoor furniture, decorations, and valuables from the immediate work area.

Notify us of any leaks, loose siding, damaged windows, electrical concerns, or delicate surfaces before service begins.

10. Service Limitations

While our professional soft washing process removes most algae, mold, mildew, moss, dirt, and organic staining, we cannot guarantee the removal of every stain or discoloration. Some stains, oxidation, rust, mineral deposits, or permanent surface damage may remain after cleaning.

11. Photos & Media

Unless otherwise requested in writing before service, the customer grants North Star Roof, Exterior & Gutter Cleaning, LLC permission to photograph or video the property before, during, and after service for documentation, training, marketing, and promotional purposes. No personal information or identifying details will be shared without permission.

12. Estimates

Estimates are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated. Additional services requested after the original estimate may result in additional charges.

13. Payment

Payment is due upon completion of services unless other arrangements have been made in writing. Late payments may be subject to applicable fees permitted by law.

14. Damage Claims

Any concerns regarding damage or service quality must be reported within three (3) calendar days of service completion. We will promptly inspect the concern and work toward a fair resolution.

15. Acceptance

Scheduling service, signing an estimate, approving a proposal electronically, or allowing work to begin constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
